Fine, We Wrote It Down
“Not only are bloggers suckers for the remarkable, so are the people who read blogs .” - Seth Godin
Welcome:
You're probably wondering, Why Fine, I'll Do It? Why a podcast? Why us, why now?
We'd love to answer that. But first, a question for you: when's the last time someone asked what YOU wanted? Not what the kids need, not what the business needs, not what your husband needs for dinner — what you, the whole entire person, actually want.
If you had to think about it for a second, that's exactly why we're here.
You're a mom who sees more for herself than just the mom title. You believe you can do it ALL, even when it's messy, even when nobody's clapping for you yet. You love research and ideas and getting SHIT DONE. You love seeing another mom doing the DAMN THING, because it reminds you that you can too.
If that's you, we are hooting and hollering for you. Welcome home.
So who's "we"? Jenn and Faith. Two moms, two entrepreneurs, two wives, and much, much, much more— emphasis on the much more, because that's the whole point. We are not just mothers or business owners or wives. We're the sum of all our parts, and that sum is always moving. That's kind of the whole thing.
We started Fine, I'll Do It on a whim, to exercise our creative side, enjoy each other's company, and build something for women like us. Turns out, when you put two moms together who both love art and photography and handwritten notes and vintage and thrifting, and who both love research and women who get shit done, you get really good conversations that turned into a podcast.
Every episode, we dig into the story of a mom who built something real, and we tell each other her story cold, no notes shared beforehand, so you get our honest, unfiltered reactions in real time.
Truth is, there was no big plan. No pitch deck, no five-year vision board. Just two moms who kept saying "someone should really do this" until one of us finally said Fine, I'll do it. That's it. That's the whole origin story, for now. (We'll tell you the messy behind-the-scenes of actually building this thing another time. It's a lot. It's also kind of hilarious.)
This isn't a podcast about having it all figured out. It's about watching women figure it out in real time, messy parts included, and realizing, if she can, you can.
Listen to episode (one ) and tell us who you want us to research next.
